US Regional Sales Director

Position Summary

Manages sales of Eracent's suite of software products and services in a defined geographic area. Establishes effective communications with appropriate executives and managers in prospect companies and existing customers to ensure proper sensitivity to customer and prospect needs. The successful candidate will have five to ten years of software sales experience, particularly in the area of software asset management technology. The position reports to the Senior VP, Worldwide Sales. Compensation is a combination of base and a no-cap commission.

  • Manages an assigned geographic sales area to maximize sales revenues and meet corporate objectives.
  • Accurately forecasts annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams and provides quarterly results assessments.
  • Develops specific plans to ensure revenue growth in all of Eracent's products.
  • Develops third party sales channels and manages the growth of channel sales.
  • Coordinates proper company resources to close sales.
  • Establishes and manages effective programs and seminars.
  • Develops pro-active competitive strategies and targeted sales campaigns.
  • Manages expenses at a reasonable level.
  • Provides insight into business and financial issues relevant to sales contract negotiations.
  • Performs sales activities on major accounts and negotiates sales price and discounts through the head of sales.
Qualifications
  • Five to ten years experience selling enterprise software, preferably in the IT asset management space.
  • Hands-on experience in closing software sales with high average value sales.
  • Experience in responding to complex Requests for Proposals (RFP).
  • Excellent communications and presentation skills.
  • Extensive list of cross-industry contacts.
